What To Look For In Hawaii Travel Packages

Going to Hawaii? You need to look into Hawaii travel packages. Not only can you save money when you buy a package deal, but your plans can be made for you. Look into Hawaii travel packages for several islands, or just one island.

If you haven't visited Hawaii before, you should stick to just one island because that is the best way to experience what Hawaii has to offer. There's not a great deal between them, but if you island hop you might miss out a lot. Those who travel between islands know the state well, and know the best times to be on each island.

In order to give you a few clues to picking from Hawaii travel packages, we will go down a short list of the different islands.

First we will look at the Big Island of Hawaii. You'll definitely want to see the lava flows at Kilauea volcano, which you can do by helicopter or by foot. In the same day you can go snow-skiing on the slopes of Mauna Kea and bathe in the sun and warm sand on a Big Island beach. You can hike through rainforests and see rare plants and orchids, view ancient Petroglyphs or, if you are adventurous, you can try your luck catching a Marlin on a deep-sea fishing charter.

The 'Valley Isle', more popularly known as Maui, will also offer you many fantastic sites to visit including Haleakala Crater, and the Lao Valley to name just a couple. Make sure, if you visit this island, you have your camera ready for a lot of pictures!

If you like a bit of peace away from the crowds, Lanai has only two resorts on the entire island, and this would meet your needs. Its other name is 'Pineapple Island' so get ready for some exotic cocktails if you chose this island for your Hawaiian travel package.

Molokai, which is the 'Friendly Isle', offers visitors to experience what an older Hawaii used to be like. Laid-back, no stop lights, friendly natives (which gives the island it's nickname) and traditional ways of living is what you'll find here.

Probably the best known island is Oahu, known as 'The Gathering Place'. This is where you will find the capital, Honolulu, and the well known Waikiki beach, Diamond Head and, of course, Pearl Harbor. To many people Oahu is synonymous with Hawaii, and this is where to go if you are a party animal. Most Hawaiian travel packages included this island on the itinerary.

Finally we'll look at Kauai, also known as 'Garden Isle' due to the abundance of natural beauty found here. The Na Pali coast features thousand-foot cliffs dropping straight down into the ocean and dozens of magnificent waterfalls. Unfortunately you can't drive or hike into this area, but you can see this natural wonder by helicopter or from the sea by charter boat. Kauai is also well-known for having some of the best beaches in the world, including Poipu Beach and Hanalei Bay.

How To Cut Business Energy Costs

Organisations that purchase large quantities of power, whether gas or electric, can usually benefit from cheaper costs provided they research the market and compare energy tariffs.

If you compare business gas prices for example, you'll typically find that the amount you get quoted will vary substantially from one power company to the next. The process of business gas price comparison needs to take into account the anticipated gas consumption over the next year and then match that to the most suitable tariff.

Stop to think about it and you'll realise that gas is gas and so all that energy companies can do is try to de-commoditise it by offering their products in different tariff packages according to overall consumption levels, when in the year that consumption is likely to be highest and lowest or whether it will be constant. For any individual business there is probably going to be one supplier whose gas price tariff best matches their demand. Get the match right and you can often save a massive amount on your business gas and electric costs.

And so it with electricity. The process of business electricity price comparison is the same. You can usually find one supplier who, because of their electricity tariff structure will be able to provide you with your energy needs at a lower price than the rest.

But you can only take advantage of different prices in the gas and electricity markets if you are prepared to shop around. The process is difficult and demands good industry

knowledge. For most businesses it makes best sense to employ an energy broker to do the job for you. Even better if you can get one who operates on a no-fee basis too.
